Writing is in my soul. I may not put pen to paper or tap away on a keyboard but that doesn't mean I am not writing. Always my mind is whirling with story lines and character outlines. There are times when I wish this wasn't the case, such as the middle of the night when, in my mind, I see the first line of a story. I cannot go back to sleep until I have it composed perfectly. Unfortunately, by morning I have forgotten it.

  1. Great to see you're moving ahead with your blog, Julee. You need the pen and paper by your bedside!

  2. You could always poke Les in the ribs and make him write it down for you. Good to see that you have made a start on the blogging.

    Keep up the good work,

    Terry

  3. Notebook and pen next to your bed is the best way - and just hope you can read your own writing in the morning.

  11. Thanks Terry.
Having you hijack my post is a pleasure for me. Your support, and the support of all at the Wordsmiths of Melton, keeps me going. Writing groups, especially a critiquing group such as ours, is so important for all writers.
My novel (which has had a name change) Tainted Grace, is coming along nicely. Chapter twenty-three finished, chapter twenty-four scribbled down by hand in my journal. Grace finds herself in the midst of a nasty confrontation, one that threatens Lilly. How will she react? Only by turning the page will you find out.
